Synod Study Group Town Hall

The Synod’s Study Group 9, which considered “Emerging Issues,” including those related to LGBTQIA+ people and our families, released its final report on May 5. The report could well help set priorities for the Vatican and our global church for years to come. We want to hear your response to this report, so we are holding a Town Hall gathering Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 PM ET/7:00 PM CT/6:00 PM MT/5:00 PM PT/2:00 PM HT. We encourage people to read the report ahead of time. You can download or read it the Synod website. You can also review DignityUSA’s response on our website. Following the Town Meeting, we plan to write to Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary of the Synod, with a more comprehensive reflection that includes reaction from our members.
